Today we remember Clover, the first pig to arrive at the sanctuary back in 2015 with her sister. She was about to turn 10. Clover adored belly rubs, food, and attention—and she gave back so much love in return. Everyone who met her fell in love with her gentle spirit. She was truly a big teddy bear, and her absence leaves a quiet ache in our hearts.
Clover’s life reminds us of the many rescue animals who never found adoptive homes, but still knew what it meant to be cherished. She—and so many like her—passed surrounded by care, dignity, and unconditional love. They may not have had a traditional “forever home,” but they were never without family.
This tribute is for Clover and for every soul like hers.
