🌳 Always Provide Shade & Water
Make sure your pets have constant access to clean, fresh water and a shady spot to escape the sun.
🥵 Know the Signs of Overheating
Look out for excessive panting, drooling, vomiting, lethargy, and uncoordinated movements. These can be signs of heatstroke, which requires immediate vet care.
🚗 Never Leave Pets in Hot Cars
Even on a mild day, a parked car can become an oven in minutes. Cracking the window is NOT enough.
🦶 Hot Pavement = Hot Paws
Sidewalks can burn delicate paws. If it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their feet. Walk your dog in the early morning or evening.
